Donald N.H. Chi (M.S., 1965) is director of information systems at the US Food and Drug Administration.

K. Thomas R. Davies (Ph.D., 1962) has been chairman of the Department of Physics at Duquesne University since 1993. He teaches courses on chaos, elementary particle physics, mechanics and quantum mechanics.

Brian G. Demczyk (B.S., 1978) recently joined the Naval Surface Warfare Center as a research physicist and is presently a Ph.D. candidate at the State University of New York, Stony Brook, in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering.

Judy Twigg (B.S., 1984) received a Ph.D. in defense and arms control from MIT. She is currently on the faculty of the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Virginia Commonwealth University. Her research continues to focus on international security issues having primarily to do with the Russian military.

Glenn M. Julian (B.S., 1961; M.S., 1963; Ph.D., 1967) is professor of physics at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He applies nuclear physics methods to the study of condensed matter systems.

Carl L. Julian (B.S., 1960) earned a Ph.D. in theoretical solid state physics at Cornell University. He currently works for Norfolk Southern in their Costs Department.

Howard Keller (B.S., 1964) is the main author of Mastering Mathcad 7, from McGraw-Hill. This book explains how to use the program for applying mathematics in many disciplines.

David L. Griscom (B.S., 1960) works at the Naval Research Laboratory applying electron-spin resonance techniques to samples of technological and scientific interest. Recently he has examined debris from the asteroidal impact 65 million years ago, which may have brought about the extinction of the dinosaurs.

Frank Meno (B.S., 1961; M.S., 1969; Ph.D., 1971) works as a biomedical engineer in the Department of Neurosurgery at Pitt. He pursues theoretical physics as a hobby and published equations for the structure of the photon in Physics Essays last year.

P. Misra (M.S., 1981) completed his Ph.D. and postdoctoral work at Ohio State University. He is now professor of physics and head of the Laser Spectroscopy Laboratory at Howard University.

Allen Michel (B.S., 1967) is professor of finance/economics at Boston University and is managing director of the Michel/Shaked Group, a firm specializing in expert testimony and financial consulting to attorneys.

T.A.E.C. "Ted" Pratt (Ph.D., 1968) died in 1996. A memorial scholarship fund has been established at Illinois Wesleyan University honoring Dr. Pratt's love of classical music.

Ernest Zebrowski, Jr. (M.S., 1968) recently published "Perils of a Restless Planet: Scientific Perspectives on Natural Disasters." This book examines the relationships between historical natural disasters, contemporary social imperatives, and the challenges of scientific inquiry. Ernie is currently a professor of physics at Pennsylvania College of Technology, Penn State.
